Opening in 2002, Foo Chow Kitchen is a small dine in and takeout eatery. When first stepping into the restaurant, diners are often struck by how orderly everything is set in place and how spotless the floors and tables are. The restaurant is clean yet also homey.
By making the claim of having the “Best Food in Town”, there has to be something that sets this restaurant apart from its competitors. Upon first glance, the offerings are rather ordinary and can be found at most any other Chinese restaurant. These dishes include the General Tso’s Chicken, and Chicken with Broccoli. The difference though is that the chef at Foo Chow Kitchen is adept at turning these ordinary offerings into extraordinary creations.
Nowadays, people are more aware of their calorie count and fat intake. Owner Mr. Jiang believes that a healthy dining experience starts from using fresh ingredients.
“We purchase all provisions on a daily basis to ensure that everything we use is fresh,” says Mr. Jiang.
As for take-out, customers expect quick service. Mr. Jiang is aware of this and has concentrated on improving efficiency ever since he first opened the restaurant. Employees follow Mr. Jiang’s instructions, therefore offering the most efficient service possible. A take-out order, on average, is finished in 5 minutes, and delivered within half an hour.
